Recently, I've been wanting to write more poems, so I sat down to write one about Fall! And then I started writing and this was the product, its not necessarily about fall but I hope you enjoy anyway!
The fresh scent of ground coffee beans fills your nostrils as your transported to...
a busy time, papers due, sitting in the library hard at work, as caffeine fuels your mind. Typing away diligently as you work through your tired state.
The taste of the smooth beverage, brings you back to a calm Saturday afternoon in the fall. Sitting by the window in a coffee shop,
gazing at the beautiful falling leaves as you wait.
Eventually, your friends arrive and you simply cherish each other's company.
Together you talk for hours while sipping on lattes and sharing laughs.

The warmth reminds you of a chilly morning.
Waking up early with a sweater draped over your shoulders as you brew a fresh pot.
A yawn escapes your lips whilst impatiently waiting.
You pour the hot beverage into your favourite mug, and stir in your creamer,
making your own perfect mix. And finally, wrapping your hands around the cup
and taking a sip.
